Custom Products/Shutters/Blinds/Shades

Custom Products are made products such as shades, blinds, shutters, draperies, etc. are fabricated to your specifications and no refunds or exchanges are possible. Custom purchases made through our shop-at-home service require a minimum 50% deposit at time of order. Custom orders cannot be cancelled, and deposits cannot be refunded, once products are ordered, usually within 24 hours of receipt of deposit. Remaining balance will still be owed on all custom products.  Because shutters/blinds/custom drapes  are assembled to order in over 800 sizes it is unlikely they could be resold or reused if returned.  Therefore, shutter are not returnable nor orders cancelable once production has begun.  We do not offer refunds on custom shutters.  We will make every effort to correct any problems with our products.  Please keep in mind that there may be a time delay because of holidays or shipments of supplies.  Please get with us to resolve any issues.  If there is a defect in material or workmanship or we made the wrong size, we reserve the right to repair your window coverings to resolve the problem. 

Shipping Charges:

 Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable. The customer pays the shipping for return items. All Returned Merchandise Must be in Original Condition and with the original packaging.  All items are carefully inspected upon receipt.


Color Variations

Please note that the appearance and color of fabrics, window treatments, and other accessories can vary from computer monitor to monitor, and actual fabric color may also be different hue as each dye lot differs slightly.  


Spring Shutters and Blinds is proud to sell high quality window treatments which if cared for and use properly, should give many years of enjoyment.  Our products are covered by manufacturer warranties. In general, fabric treatments, both custom and ready-made, are covered for one year against fabric and fabrication defects.  Spring Shutters and Blinds cannot warranty against damages caused by misuse or abuse of our products.  Warranties apply to the original customer and /or installation with proof of purchase and covers any defects in materials or workmanship provided the product is measured and installed according to the product instruction.. If warranty service is needed call Customer Service and we will arrange for repair or replacement as quickly as possible.. We reserve the right to determine if your piece warrants a repair or partial replacement of any parts or in the unlikely event the entire piece is defective, it will be handled accordingly.  Service will be done on the original products orders according to invoice.   SPRING SHUTTERS AND BLINDS warrants that any installation rendered by SPRING SHUTTERS AND BLINDS during such time shall be performed in a professional, workmanship  like manner with the care and skill  ordinarily used by other members of SPRING SHUTTERS AND BLINDS profession practicing under similar conditions at the same time and in the same locality.  This installation warranty shall not apply if anyone other than SPRING SHUTTERS AND BLINDS has tampered with, improperly repaired or re-worked the installation in any material respect.  Nor shall the installation warranty apply to any installation that has been modified or improperly handled, stored, installed, repaired, operated, used or maintained in any material respect. 



Final payment must be paid in cash, check or authorized charge slips made payable to SPRING SHUTTERS AND BLINDS.  The installer is not authorized to accept any final payment.  All final payments must be made directly to SPRING SHUTTERS AND BLINDS.  All final payments must be made before the installer leaves the premises.  There will be a $35.00 charge for all returned checks.  All additional expenses incurred by SPRING SHUTTERS AND BLINDS for collecting unpaid invoices will be at the customer's expense, including but not limited to attorney's fees.  Upon payment of your deposit you understand that you are entering into a legal contract. Any changes to the specifications of the invoice must be requested and agreed by both parties in writing.  Also by making such deposit you understand that the order is for custom merchandise and cannot be cancelled once ordered.  If customer fails to make final payment, Spring Shutters and Blinds shall be entitled to demand the entire balance due immediately and take all legal actions necessary to collect the debt.  Any and all cost of collecting the debt shall be added to the amount owed under this contract.
